February Sale
It's been a while since I updated my blog, I was busy with Loretta learning to walk, sewing and making some orders, ppfiiuuh..
Since February is quite a special month for me, My B'day is in February, it's valentine day and month full of love, I decided to spread some love too to my customers. I am having a 30% sale for all items in my shop all the way until February 23 this year, yay!

Time to Give Back
I know I haven't made that huge sale on etsy, but it is never too early or too late to give back to the community. With help from my favorite Team: Carried Away : Etsy Bag Maker Team I will donate 30% off the sale from this Batik Wristlet to wateraid.org
I am hoping that in the future I will keep on doing my giving back program and hopefully I can donate to more organization and charity.
Batik Clutch
October 2 is a National Batik Day in Indonesia. This is to celebrate the international recognition of Indonesian Batik Heritage. People will wear Batik on this day and I want to use Batik too for my next collection. I love the natural colors in Batik also the patterns. I promise I will make more of Batik bags and purse in the future.

Handmade Wristlets
It's been long time since last time I post something on this blog. I've been busy making wristlets from the colorful fabrics I had.
I made pleated wristlet because sometime I wanted to go out but dont want to bring a big bag. I only need to bring my wallet and my mobile phone and wristlets sounds so much fun. I also love pleats. I realize that almost all my handmade bags contains pleats on it.
After made this wristlet, I add resin pendant into it and a georgeous small batik and sateen flower to make it prettier. Here is some of the my new handmade wristlets. You may found all these on my etsy shop

Yay! Finally My first sales on etsy..
Few days ago I started my plan to get first sales on etsy and today when I opened my email, I was so happy to get my first sales. Yay!
Actually I am not prepared yet to get my sales because my name card is not finished yet (I still haven't decide the design), I have no idea how am I going to wrap my items for shipping to make it nice. I shall look into thi matter as well.
I still have to send the items to my first customer so I wrap it up nicely with paper and ribbon and put a small handwriting card saying thank you for the purchase. I'm gonna put it inside a bubble envelope and will send it first thing tomorrow morning.
I am so happy. Now I'm getting excited to make more bags and sell and promote it on etsy.
Garus Garus ---->>> this is what the Balinese say when first customer buy something from your shop and hope that first customer will bring good luck and more customers to the shop for the rest of the day

My Plan to get the first sale on Etsy
To start a new business is not easy. The first step to just get yourself to start is passed, now it is time to plan for strategy and marketing. I hate this but I see lots of new business is failed without this and I dont want to fail. So now I set up my mind to never give up and it is time to learn from those who succeed selling on etsy.
While keep making clutch bags on my spare time, I also read this etsy seller handbook and read the forums. I learn alot from this and found out some idea to get my first sales on etsy.
Here is my list:

Here is my list:
- Renew Items on etsy every 3-4 hours, 3 times a day (this is becaue I have small budget relisting items)
- Change the photos of my items (they're ugly, Really need a fotogenic picture for my clutchs)
- Learn more from forums and chat
- Comment more on forum threads
- Update and promote my blog
- Make more bags and clutchs
- Never Give up!
Hug A Tree
So I have decided to make a treasury too on etsy. When I log on to the forum many says that making treasury also help us to get into treasuries.
Since I love something green lately - The paddy field in front of my house is so green now - I am making treasuries about trees.
Hug A Tree is the title, also to include the message to love our trees and forest since the global warming effect started to make the weather change extremely.

Well thats a good start, at least somebody put me in the treasury. I think I should start to make myself a to-do-list to boast my viewers and to get more exposure for my shop

I make bags and other craft often but I ussually sell it only in Indonesia and now I have decided to go international and found Etsy is just a perfect website to sell and promote my handmade bags to international buyer.
I specialize my shop in my handmade clutch bag. I think thats for now, we'll see if I can do my first sales on etsy.
Well actually I've been around in Etsy for about 3 months because I adore the handmade items made by creative etsy seller from all over the world. And then I decide to try selling my items on Etsy.
Can't say anything much about my shop on Etsy now because I just learn on how it works.
